IT Policies

The policies described here are designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reduce institutional risks, promote operational efficiencies, and enhance the technological experience of university constituents. Topics covered include acceptable use of university technology, requesting and use of IT resources for academic and event support, data and system security, and departmental operations.

These policies are subject to review and change annually or sooner if needed. Any inquiries about these policies, or requests for changes or additions, should be directed to the IT department by sending an email to it@olivet.edu that includes the policy name and details of your inquiry.
